Chelsea’s ACA Galleries is showcasing a new exhibit by textile artist Kandy G. Lopez, titled “Textile Truths: Faces of Resilience.” Her pieces blur the line between painting and textile art, creating the effect of images painted with yarn. Lopez joined “Weekends On 1” Sunday to discuss her work and the inspiration behind the exhibit.
